Leaden Waters
Kaercher State Park, Hamburg, PA. The park, built in 1970, is closed indefinitely due to lead contamination that was missed when the superfund cleanup of land inside the borough took place earlier this century. The park is outside the borough proper in Windsor Township. There are also reportedly problems with the dam in the park.
