Envy
Drawing on images drawn from the Film Noir classic “Mad Love,” starring Peter Lorre, a dark, horror film about love, obsession, and murder. 1935. The second film referenced is “Jealousy” a 2013 Black and white French film about a man who leaves his wife and daughter. A series of brief conversations, observed gestures, chance encounters and impulsive acts, tell the story of the relationships that flounder and thrive in the wake of this decision.
