Each spring I vow not to photograph any more flowers. Then May comes along, and I can't halp myself.
The light is always a little different, the flowers I notice are different, and there is just an inherent beauty to flowers.
This May I particularly focused on studying the beauty of Mountain Laurel blossoms.
Continuing my experiments with Scanograms begun in April, I also focused on Mountain Laurel, not particularly because it is the Pennsylvania State Flower, rather because I found the blossoms facinating.
Despite the May Flower theme, the picture of the month is the collaborative piece
Martha Ressler and I produced, The Uncertainty Principle, completed in May and chosen to hang at the Pittsburgh Center for the Arts along with a solo piece of mine, Awetogenesis which I featured in April 2010.
